Making Connections With
People, Both Within and
Outside Our Community

New Beginnings

A positive Support Group for parents and grandparents of children in interfaith marriages. Discussions, speakers, and films on life cycle issues that confront everyone in this new family structure. Emphasis is on family support; a positive approach to sharing our Jewish heritage with the entire family unit.

Meetings are held once a month on a weekday evening at the synagoge. In November and December the topics center on the "December Dilemma", Hanukah/Christmas.

Check the calendar for specific times and program details.

New Member Activities

The annual New Member Kiddush honors new congregants and helps them meet and socialize with other members. In late summer, Jewish area residents not affiliated with other synagogues are invited to attend Shabbat services which are followed by a special oneg or kiddush in their honor. This provides an opportunity to participate in Shabbat Services and to meet the Rabbi, Cantor, current members, and other new members.
